For concerts, exams, recitals and competitions, many musicians require an accompanist to support their performance. I can provide piano accompaniment for these situations.
I have experience accompanying:
- Vocals - solo and group
- Flute / Saxophone / Oboe / Clarinet
- Violin / Cello
- Trumpet / Trombone / French Horn / Tuba
I have also worked as a rehearsal pianist in community musical theatre.
In general, my pricing is based on:
- $75 for final performance / exam
- $40 for 30 minute rehearsal
- $50 for 45 minute rehearsal (recommended for initial rehearsal)
The number of rehearsals is up to you, but I would generally recommend two rehearsals before the final performance.
The above prices are based on rehearsals at my home studio in East Doncaster. Prices may increase for travel. Discounts are possible for groups (e.g. multiple students from one teacher who can coordinate back to back rehearsals or performances).
